Dr. F is a mad scientist with wacky inventions and experiments, which can be somewhat dangerous. He is crazy, silly, and seemingly harmful, often shouting out silly phrases, such as "TODAY'S WEATHER CALLS FOR A 100% CHANCE FOR SCIENCE!!!" As crazy he can be, Dr. F is actually very smart. Along with practicing mad science in several laboratories, Dr. F is a Public Safety Advisor[1], host of the Bizarre Festival, as well as the Robo-Assault! and Chemistry Calamity minigames, and a pilot.

Dr. F never really had much success with the “conventional” sciences. Luckily, thanks to a free class at his local community center, he discovered Mad Science. Dr. F wears round glasses, a white lab coat with a red bow tie, red rubber gloves, and boots. He has brown eyes, wild white hair and a mustache similar to Albert Einstein. Dr. F has tan skin in MySims and MySims Party (Wii), but pale skin in all the other games. Dr. F's glasses have a swirl design in all his DS appearances, as well as his icon in MySims Agents (Wii), but his glasses are clear in all his Wii appearances. In MySims SkyHeroes, Dr. F wears night vision goggles rather than his regular glasses.
Alternate Outfit
If the player has Dr. F on their team while playing the Bizarre Festival or Robo-Assault!, the host Dr. F will wear an alternate outfit to differentiate the two Dr. F from each other. His alternate outfit is the same as his original one, but his bow tie and gloves are blue.

- Dr. F appears in MySims Puzzle Party.
- Dr. F is mentioned as "Mr F" in a chance card for the Intelligence Career in The Sims 2: Freetime.
- In The Sims 3: Seasons, there is a lifetime reward called "Dr. F's Climatron Control Unit".
- Dr. F appears in The Sims 4 as an uncommon MySims trophy that can be collected by players. His description reads: Dr. F is the indomitable mad scientist with PhDs is robotology AND robotonomy. There are many, many conflicting reports as to what the "F" actually stands for. He invented TOBOR.
- Dr. F's trophy appears again in The Sims Mobile as an heirloom charm.
- The soundtrack used for Dr. F's minigame, Robo-Assault!, can be heard in The Sims 4: City Living, on the video game console.

- Both Dr. F and Stephen Albright claim they invented the toaster oven.
- Before Dr. F gives the player the detector in MySims Agents, he says "It's dangerous to go alone. Take this." This is a reference to the first Legend of Zelda game, when the unnamed old man tells Link this upon giving him his first sword.
- Dr. F says he wants to combine a cow and a plant in Star level 4. This is likely a reference to the Laganaphyllis simnovorii (cowplant) in The Sims 2: University.
- Dr. F makes a reference to Newton's first Law of Motion: Inertia in Star Level 5.
- Dr. F's second dispatch mission, F, Robot, is a reference to the movie I, Robot.
- In MySims Party, Dr. F says "My glasses are made of a transparent synthetic polymer. I believe it's called plastic.", which could mean his glasses are fake.
- In MySims Agents, it is revealed that Dr. F hates squirrels.
- Dr. F could be a reference to Dr. Clayton Forrester from Mystery Science Theater 3000, who has the same hair and round glasses. Although Dr. Forrester mostly wears lime green, there are many similarities in their failed attempts at science, blowing up their experiments, and the fact that both have launched their janitors into space.
- In MySims Agents, Dr. F likes to torture T.O.B.O.R., since he asked, "I wonder what nightmares robots have."
- Dr. F appears in SimCity Creator (Wii) as the city's Public Safety Advisor.
- The passcode to Dr. F's lab in MySims Agents is 01000110, which is binary for the letter F.
- Dr. F is named "Dr. Marto" in the French version of MySims Kingdom (Wii). "Marteau" is French for the word "Hammer", and can be an informal word to describe a crazy person.
