Ray is a potential townie who doesn't really seem to care about anything. He is also a potential Health and Education Advisor for the city.

Appearance

Ray has pale skin, short brown hair with a widow's peak and curtain bangs, vertical oval eyes with red irises, thick arched black eyebrows, and a smirk. He has brown hair with a fringe and has interesting red eyes. He wears a black tailcoat with red bats over a white button down shirt, black pants with a chain, and black boots with red soles. There are silver buckles on his belt and sleeves. In some promotional images, he has black hair instead.

In other games

A Sim by the name of Bartholomew was offered on the Exchange for The Sims 2. Bartholomew was made by MaxoidMonkey and bears a striking similarity to Ray. However, since the Exchange was shut down in 2012, he can no longer be downloaded from TheSims2.com, but he can be downloaded from here.

Ray also appears in a concept art image for The Sims 2 with a sim resembling him.

Trivia

• There are two Sims used in marketing materials who have the same face as Ray: one blue haired and one blond.
• Ray may be based on Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy. Ray's outfit and hair are similar to Squall's outfit as he appears in Kingdom Hearts.
  • Also, when Ray talks about ranged/melee weapon, he seems to be referencing to Squall's gunblade, and when he mentions about liking to "play video games with characters that are emo yet kind of cool", he may be also indirectly referencing Squall.
• Ray's surname may be Spaz since there is an unused string for an early version of his profile backstory hidden in the game's code that says "I am Ray Spaz."
• Even though Ray comes to town at Star Level 2, his blueprint requires blocks that are not yet available until Star Level 3.
• Ray was originally supposed to appear in MySims Agents, but was cut from the game. His role and reason for being cut are unknown.
  • A dialogue icon was created for him and posted online by Genevieve Tsai.
