Treasure Hunter

Richard is the treasure hunter in MySims Kingdom (DS). His boat is parked at the shore of the Main Town area of the island town within King Roland's kingdom.

After most of the town disappears, Richard's compass breaks and he asks the player to fix it. When Dr. F repairs it, Richard offers to sail the player across the river in his boat until the bridge is repaired. From then on, Richard only appears at night, when the player can now play the Dream Card minigame with him.

Richard gives the player a Go Set after playing Dream Card on easy mode, Marble Solitaire after winning normal, and a Chess Set after winning hard.

After unlocking all Dream Card difficulties, Richard tells the player a story he calls "Richard and the Meeting with Destiny" and "Richard, Gone with the Wind", which is split into three parts. He talks about how he saved a girl from being harassed by thugs. She thanked him and he instantly fell for her. However, he disliked the country he was in and did not stay for long; he regrets leaving the girl behind. He ends the story by teliling the player to do everything with courage. For each installment of the story, he gives the player a Pinball Machine, a Pool Table and a Foosball Table respectively, before fulfilling his goal. Every round after this costs §100.

and on the shore I saw some thugs hassling this girl...
She needed some help and I thought I could so something...

Oh, that's right! The girl and the thugs...
I hopped, stepped, and jumped all over those thugs.
And I naturally helped out the young lady... All without hurting those punks... too much...
For me, it would be easy as pie.
The girl came to thank me... And let me tell you, that girl, she was just striking.
It was love at first sight.
No mistaking it, kid... She was THE ONE.
Glad I took a stand, ya know, kid.

Physical Appearance

Richard has blond hair and tan skin, the latter of which may be from his many travels at sea. He has wrinkled frown lines on his face and his eyes are a fierce red with stern angled eyebrows. Richard wears a deep red-plum colored suit with gold accents and accessories, a matching hat, a ruffly white button up shirt with a deep v-neck. There is a black strip studded with gold stretched across his chest. He has brown boots, also decorated with gold.
