Rusty (formerly Rusty the Robber) is a lonely young man living atop the mountain overlooking Cowboy Junction. He took up the life as a robber after being so lonely all the time and having no friends. Rusty's criminal lifestyle has troubled some of the island residents, particularly Chef Gino Delicioso. When the Royal Wandolier arrives to the island with Buddy and Lyndsay, they will meet Sheriff Ginny, who is planning on tracking down the criminal stealing from various islanders. Once they figure out it is Rusty, Ginny unmasks his bandanna and he promises to give up being a robber. Rusty then becomes best friends with Ginny and the town is happy again. Due to the windmill blowing his shed away, he lives outside and depends on the Royal Wandolier to spruce up his home. The goods Rusty stole include the parts to Gino's flour mill, water pipes, Roxie Road's gate, Ol' Gabby's horseshoe, and possibly Grandma Ruthie's flour mill before she moved to Spookane.

Profile

Rusty lives at the top of a desolate hill because he thrives on loneliness, and is sustained by solitude. But maybe all the seclusion is getting to him. Lately he's been acting a little...strange. He also seems to have found a never-ending supply of bandannas.

Appearance

Rusty has tan skin, blond hair, yellow eyes, and a slight frown. He wears a beige button-up shirt, off green cuffed pants with a horseshoe belt buckle, a black trench coat, a matching hat, off green gloves, gray shoes, a brown side bag over his left shoulder, a beige side bag over his right shoulder, and a red bandana on his face before Ginny wrestled it off of him.

Trivia

• Rusty is one of 4 Sims to change their appearance during the storyline, along with Vic Vector, Grandma Ruthie, and Trevor Verily.
  • Interestingly, all 4 of them are seen in their original appearances again during the end credits.
  • Rusty is the only one to change an accessory rather than their outfit.
  • Rusty is also the only one to appear in only one game.
