Minigame Info

Host Johnny

Snowball Fight is a minigame in My Sims Kingdom (DS) hosted by Johnny. It is available to play from morning until evening.

The player unlocks it after helping Johnny and Dean by giving the latter a fireplace. They will initially only be able to play singleplayer until winning a medal; head-to-head mode is unlocked along with the Medium difficulty of both modes.

Game Modes

Singleplayer

Singleplayer mode can be found southeast of Johnny's house. The player has to approach the large snowman in order to play.

There are three difficulties; Easy, Medium and Hard. The player must throw snowballs at snowmen placed around the field. If all the snowmen have not been hit within a certain amount of time, they will disappear and be replaced by new ones.

There are four different types of snowmen that will give different points; Blue (30 points), Red (50 points), Orange (100 points) and Gold (500 points). It takes multiple snowballs to take certain snowmen down; Blue (one), Red (two), Orange (three) and Gold (four).

The harder the difficulity, the faster the snowmen vanish, and the more varied the snowmen's locations are.

Head-to-Head

Head-to-Head is played by talking to Johnny directly.

It has the same three difficulties. The player and their opponent have a health bar each. If either get hit by a snowball, they take damage. After taking damage, either player gets invisibility frames for a few seconds. Use the frames to move away from the opponent.

The harder the difficulty, the more strategic and skilled the CPU gets.

Battle Against Johnny

When the player talks to Johnny during his last event, he is upset that he lost a snowball match against Dean, and will challenge them to a match. Regardless of whether the player wins or loses, Johnny will have cheered up and fulfilled his goal of being a good patroller.
