Cassandra is a ghost that occasionally appears in town. She will only appear if a Spooky Sim performs a Séance. Cassandra will want to play numerous times and loves to scare the player. She will often scare, hug, tease, tickle, or even pop up from behind the player. Cassandra will commonly float around by the fountain in Town Square and try to scare or tickle any nearby Sims. She will sometimes disappear randomly right after finishing an interaction with her or after a few seconds on no interaction, and will not appear again until another Spooky Sim performs a séance or the player finds her around town.
Cassandra cannot be asked to move in, but she will give three special blueprints upon becoming best friends with her. This can be hard at times, because she won't stay long enough, or she will scare the player and subtract points. To counteract the effect of Cassandra scaring the player, it is possible to cancel the animation by moving, thus preventing points from being subtracted. Cassandra never appears in the relationship book, even after becoming her best friend. This is because the player cannot speak to Cassandra, unlike the rest of the NPCs who all get registered once the player talks to them.

Appearance
Cassandra has light purple short hair in a spiky mullet, slicked-back with choppy bangs, two face-framing strands, and white fox ears. She also has round solid white eyes and a smile with one fang on each end. She wears an off-white robe with flared sleeves, light green leggings, an aqua blue beaded necklace layered over a chunky brown necklace, and tan shoes that resemble geta, having two wooden "teeth" as support, as well as ribbon or rope tied up her legs over the leggings. Cassandra has off-white and gray bandages wrapped across her body, including wrists and torso. She is roughly 60% transparent (an alpha value of 98; 0 being completely transparent, 255 having no transparency/average Sims' value). When Cassandra's transparency is removed, she appears to have pale skin.

- Cassandra has a relationship book icon in the game files, meaning she may have originally been intended to appear in the relationship book.
- Cassandra also has a relationship book profile, but this also went unused.
- Cassandra, Buddy, and Rosalyn P. Marshall, are the only Sims in MySims (Console/PC/Apple Arcade) that cannot be moved in or kicked out.
- Cassandra has a magatama on her necklace, which is a curved, comma-shaped bead from prehistoric Japan that has served as decorative jewelry, as well as a ceremonial and religious object.
- Cassandra shares her interests with Goth Boy.
- Cassandra shares a name with Cassandra Goth, a recurring Sim from the core Sims games.
- Cassandra has a unique voice type; she will not speak as normal, but will make "ghost-like" noises when doing certain actions.
