Compass is an exclusive Studious essence in MySims (Console/PC/Apple Arcade). They can be obtained by prospecting in the Gardens.
Not all players have the same essences in their Gardens in MySims (PC), so the chances of obtaining Compasses are random. Before online play was shut down, players used to be able to give Bats to other players who did not have them in their Gardens. However, players can obtain all the Gardens essences in MySims: Cozy Bundle.
