Pawn is a Studious essence in MySims (Console/PC/Apple Arcade). They can be found growing on trees in the Chess Cave, located in the Forest. Shake or fertilize the tree to obtain the essence. Pawns, along with knights and Rooks, are pieces from the board game, Chess.

Trivia
- Despite not accessing Pawn trees until Star Level 4, the player can actually get them as early as Star Level 2 if they remove the counters, desk, or chair from a Studious Sim's home, such as Gordon, and remove the essence to plant them.
- Pawns can also be obtained after using a stage.
