Counter is an object in the MySims series. It is a surface with implied storage inside. Small objects or decoratives can be placed on countertops.
MySims (Console/PC/Apple Arcade)
Counter is an unlockable blueprint. Counters can be used to knead dough, stamp books, or make sushi. Non-playable Sims will occasionally lean on counters with a sad expression. When blocks cover all the stars, two cabinet doors will appear on the base of the counter. The cabinet doors can be painted and potentially help task requirements without adding extra blocks.
Interactions
- Be Bored: The Sim leans on the countertop with a sad expression, and Violet Nightshade may assemble vases of dead flowers. This interaction can only be performed by the building's owner and is unavailable to the player.
- Make Sushi: The Sim tries to prepare sushi, though only Chef Hisao Watanabe does so successfully. This interaction can be performed by Chef Watanabe and his son Jimmy in their respective houses, as well as the player, and it requires a Karaoke Machine to be placed in the building. It has a 18.67% chance of dropping Rainbow Trouts, and a 0.67% chance of dropping Crabs or Octopi.
- Knead Dough: The Sim kneads dough on the countertop. This interaction can only be performed by Chef Gino Delicioso in his restaurant, as well as the player, and it requires a Pizza Oven to be placed in the building. It has a 1% chance of dropping Gingerbread Men.
- Stamp Books: The Sim stamps books. This interaction can only be performed by Elmira Clamp in her library, as well as the player, and it requires a Bookshelf to be placed in the building. It has a 5% chance of dropping Pencils.

MySims Kingdom (Console/PC/Apple Arcade)
There are 3 counter variations in MySims Kingdom. The standard counter can be unlocked by completing the Furniture Scroll given to the Royal Wandolier by Barney Cull, and the 2 diner counters can be unlocked by completing the Eat at Tobor's Scroll given to the Royal Wandolier by T.O.B.O.R. Unlike the counter in MySims, the standard counter variation in MySims Kingdom has two drawers rather than two cabinet doors, and the diner counters have no drawers or doors.
