Princess Butter is King Roland's daughter. She is extremely spoiled and, despite caring for her father, can frequently be found disrespecting him while demanding gifts. Princess Butter often throws a temper tantrum when she doesn't get her way, but has a soft spot for cute and fluffy animals like unicorns. She lives on Capital Island with her father and his wizard, Marlon, in their castle. When the player begins their journey as a Royal Wandolier, Princess Butter will get in their way a few times, and they will have to put their skills to the test to overcome her challenges. She has a flaring temper, but becomes kinder after getting to know her.

Later on, Butter eventually realizes if she curbs her selfish behavior and showed more compassion to those around her, she would have some friends. After earning a lot of King Points, she will ask the Royal Wandolier to spruce up the stairway leading to the harbor gate. If the Royal Wandolier is a female, Princess Butter will gift her princess outfit if the two develop a good friendship. King Roland seems to wish his daughter was nicer, because she keeps demanding more ponies when he said he'd get her a unicorn. Even though Princess Butter can be a spoiled brat, all she really wants is to have real friends.

Relationships

Buddy, Lyndsay, and the Wandolier

Princess Butter acts out as a bully to Buddy, Lyndsay, and the Wandolier, but really, she is jealous of their friendship. Buddy is sympathetic to her loneliness and thinks that deep down, she is nice.

Lyndsay will mention Butter on the Forest of the Elves and The Royal Academy, meaning she still thinks of Butter after leaving Capital Island.

Appearance

Princess Butter wears a light blue hennin (a conical headdress worn by princesses and other nobility), a sleeveless powder blue dress with pink roses patterned on the lower layer and rose shaped accents throughout, as well as long, white gloves. Butter has pale skin, rosy cheeks, sparkling blue eyes, and curly pink hair styled in an ornate manner, with buns and braids adorning each side.
